Tips for the Perfect Crisp

For the best flavor, use a mix of sweet and tart apples. Combining varieties like Honeycrisp and Granny Smith creates a balanced, rich taste in every bite.

Enhance the texture by mixing in pumpkin seeds or flaxseeds with the topping. These seeds add extra crunch and boost the nutritional value with fiber and healthy fats.

Easily make this apple walnut crisp recipe vegan by swapping butter for coconut oil. It keeps the crisp moist and flavorful while being 100% plant-based.
