Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Carrie Weitzel, owner and founder of Colorado Nutrition Counseling, LLC. I provide virtual nutrition counseling services as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). Blog posts provided by me or my dietetic interns on this website are for informational purposes only and should not be used as a replacement for medical advice. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Email List
When visitors sign up for the email list using the pop-up or sidebar forms on the website, the visitor’s first name and email address are collected and managed by Carrie Weitzel, owner of Colorado Nutrition Counseling, LLC. This personal data is saved on ConvertKit’s server, until the visitor has unsubscribed from the list manually. To unsubscribe from this email list, the visitor can either click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email sent to them or email me directly at cweitzel@coloradonutritioncounseling.com where I will unsubscribe them within 48 business hours.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
